A complete rulebook
The current rules, variants, player counts, and any known clarifications.
Board Game Arena development
I work directly with publishers and designers to turn finished tabletop games into clear, reliable digital implementations.

Why work with me
I develop BGA adaptations solo, with the same structured approach I have used throughout more than a decade in professional software engineering. You work with the person writing the code, from the first rules question through release support.
From rulebook to release
You always know what I am working on, what I need from you, and what happens next.
You share the rulebook. I study the rules, edge cases, player count, and likely implementation risks.
When it helps both sides make a sound decision, I build a small no-cost feasibility prototype before we commit to the full project.
I provide a project-specific quote, delivery estimate, milestones, and a written definition of what is included.
I implement the game and share progress regularly. You answer rules questions, provide assets, and review key milestones.
We test complete games, resolve edge cases, prepare the BGA review, and support the implementation through release.
Working together
Good digital implementations come from good collaboration. These four inputs keep the work accurate and moving.
The current rules, variants, player counts, and any known clarifications.
A designer or rules expert who can resolve ambiguity during development.
Final artwork and source files sized for a clear digital interface.
Regular milestone feedback so development and testing keep moving.
Scope and pricing
Every game is different. Player interaction, hidden information, scoring, artificial intelligence, expansions, and interface needs all change the work involved. I review the rules first, then provide a project-specific quote with milestone payments.
There is no charge for an initial conversation or rulebook review.
Included support
The agreed delivery includes three months of post-release support for bug fixes and compatibility work caused by BGA platform changes. Larger additions and new expansions are scoped separately.
Straight answers
The short version of the conversations that usually happen before a project begins.
My current BGA work is still in development or private testing. I am building this portfolio openly and price each engagement with that stage in mind. My wider background is more than ten years of professional software engineering.
Yes. You communicate directly with me throughout development. I rely on the publisher or designer for authoritative rules clarifications and approvals.
It depends on the game. I estimate the schedule after reviewing the rulebook and major interface risks. The quote separates development milestones from collaborative testing, where response time matters.
You retain ownership of your game and the assets you provide. The agreement records the implementation licence, deliverables, payment milestones, and support terms before full development begins.
BGA supports different commercial arrangements depending on the project and its Premium status. We can discuss the options, but the publisher should confirm the current terms directly with BGA before choosing a model.
I include three months of support after launch for bug fixes and relevant BGA platform compatibility changes. New features, variants, and expansions receive their own scope.
Current work remains private until publishers are ready to announce it. I can discuss relevant experience and demonstrate suitable work privately when permissions allow.
Start with the rulebook
Send the title, rulebook, target player counts, and what you want from a BGA release. I will review it and tell you what I would need to quote the work properly.
